TECHNICal strategy 8

Perform this strategy six days in a row:

Step 1: Get down on your hands and knees with your arms straight and head in a neutral position (eyes facing the ground).

Step 2: Raise your right leg to hip level with your knee locked out, and your toes pointed.

Step 3: Perform 20 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a slow speed.

Step 4: Perform 25 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a medium speed.

Step 5: Perform 30 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a fast speed.

Step 6: Take a one-minute rest and repeat the progression a second time.

Step 7: Repeat the entire sequence with your left leg.

Step 8: Lie on your back and bend your arms 90-degrees so you can rest on your elbows. At this point, your head, shoulders, and upper back should be off the ground.

Step 9: Look down at your right foot, point your toes, then raise your right leg (one foot high) off the ground.

Step 10: Perform 20 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a slow speed.

Step 11: Perform 25 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a medium speed.

Step 12: Perform 30 straight leg kicks within a six-inch range at a fast speed.

Step 13: Take a one-minute rest and repeat the progression a second time.

Step 14: Repeat the entire sequence with your left leg.

Score the quality of your work out of “10” each time and see if you can achieve a “10 score” at least four days out of six.
