Mind Swimming
Olympians have performed the art of visualization to master swimming technique for decades. Having a clear “moving picture” in your mind of swimming each stroke correctly in the water is the ultimate form of self-learning and skill acquisition. Your mission this week is to visualize yourself performing each stroke before heading to the pool and scoring yourself from Platinum to Bronze when the practice has ended. Your “mind swimming session” should last at least five minutes per stroke, per day.
Scoreboard:
- Platinum = Flawless
- Gold = Wow, pretty darn good!
- Silver = Hit Or Miss
- Bronze = I’d rather not say
