Your Strengths Versus Your Weaknesses
The physical side of swim training consists of three parts, strength, endurance, and flexibility. Typically, swimmers rank higher or lower in one or more. In other words, they’re not equal in all. They also tend to ignore what they need and focus on what they already have. Your mission this week is to balance out your physical side. For example, if you excel in flexibility and strength, continue on that path, but place a heightened emphasis on improving your endurance. Or, if you excel in endurance and strength, focus on your flexibility. Whatever the combination, balance it out!
