Clean out your Closet
Unless you’re a “neat-freak,” there’s an excellent chance your closet is bursting at the seams with clothing you’ve outgrown or no longer wear. For one reason or another, you cling on to them for sentimental value or because they give you a feeling of comfort.
Swimmers do the same thing with specific thoughts relating to themselves and the sport they love. Although they may recognize that their current mindset is detrimental, they resist letting go.
Given this insight, what things can you clean out of your “mental closest” to improve your outlook and swimming performance? Think long and hard before answering, then compile your list below. A minimum of five would be a great first step!
