PVC Mental Strategy 16

Risk-Taking

Pretend for a moment you wanted to learn how to skydive. You’d start by learning as much as you could from a skydiving expert. Next, you’d practice on land. And finally, you’d jump from an airplane! The first two steps are easy compared to the third, but the third is the most crucial. It doesn’t matter how much you know about skydiving; you must jump from the airplane to be a skydiver!

The same is true about swimming. You may know a lot about it, but are you taking the most crucial step and taking daily risks? It could be in goal setting, dry-land training, the pool, or your personal life.

Your mission is to document your risk-taking episodes for the next six days. On a scale from one to ten, they should score eight or higher!
