Greater flexibility in the shoulders, chest, hips, and ankles allows the body to generate more propulsion and flow through the water with minimal drag and greater ease. Over the years, yoga has become the dry-land activity of choice for world-class swimmers. Finding effective ways to help swimmers improve their flexibility is no easy task especially when one considers how little free time they have in their day.
