The PEAK Mental Edge Clinic, conducted by Olympic Coach Nick Baker, is the first of its kind. Experts agree that the mind plays a significant role in peak performance, yet few swimmers know how to fully utilize its power. Our two-day, action-packed clinic takes the “mystery out of the mental” and empowers swimmers to perform at their optimum level. The clinic includes:

  • Real-life swim meet simulations designed to teach swimmers how to perform their best under pressure
  • Race-pace start progressions designed to help swimmers “ace” their starts and gain the winning edge
  • Race-pace turn progressions designed to help swimmers “ace” their turns and gain the winning edge
  • Super-tough training sets designed to develop greater mental toughness and determination

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

The schedule below outlines a sample agenda for the day. Most clinic schedules run daily 8:00am to 3:00pm or 9:00am to 4:00pm, depending on the location.

  • 9:00 AM – Dry Land
  • 10:00 AM – Mental Skills PLUS
  • 10:30 AM – Pool Session 1
  • 12:30 PM – Catered Lunch
  • 1:00 PM – Yoga
  • 2:00 PM – Pool Session 2
  • 4:00 PM – Daily Sign Out
