Coach Tim has been a professional swim coach for the past 15 years training swimmers to the regional, state, and zone level. He also developed and directed Learn to Swim programs in San Diego, California, and Greenwich, Connecticut. In addition to his full time commitment to coaching, he has served as Vice President of the Westchester County Swimming Association for 10 years, was the Co-Chairman of Swim Across America, and is now on SAA’s National Safety Team. Coach Tim also trains triathletes, having qualified more than 30 athletes for sprint and Ironman triathlons. He was a 4-year Varsity Letterman at Villanova University and a valued member of the school’s swim team.
Tim has been selected by Coach Nick Baker to run multiple PEAK swim camps around the world. When asked about his accomplishments, Coach Tim will first mention his work with children with autism, followed by his work with PEAK swimmers at camps worldwide. Tim is incredibly proud of his swimmers. He always puts kids’ individual needs first and he loves to see them progress through life in and out of the water. “Children are all individuals and learn in different ways. In a group setting, it is up to me to identify how each swimmer learns and adjust to their individual learning styles.”
