Working at Peak Performance Swim Camp is a most rewarding and valuable experience that challenges you as a coach, mentor, and leader! Job opportunities are available for summer employment, as well as positions during our seasonal camps and weekend clinics conducted throughout the year. Peak Performance Swim Camp is continually searching for great coaches that are ready, willing, and able to assist on the pool deck. Successful candidates must possess a true passion for the sport, enjoy working with swimmers of all ages and abilities, and possess a consistent positive attitude.
Positions are available for coaches 21 years of age and older. Coaches should also be certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR. A background check will be conducted on all successful candidates.
Coaching duties include coaching on the pool deck and overseeing dry-land training. At overnight camps, coaches are also required to supervise swimmers during the evening activities and overnight hours, as well as assist with airport arrivals and departures.
Camp staff is expected to arrive to camp no later than 1:00 p.m., the day prior to camp commencement, and depart no earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the last day of camp. Staff stays two per room in the camp hotel or college residence.
All camp staff receives a Nike uniform package to include shirts, shoes, and ball cap. The uniform must be worn at all coaching sessions without exception.
Compensation for hired staff includes: coaching wages, camp lodging and meals (depending on camp location), and travel allowance.
